This is where I begin. My Genesis Spot, at least as a blogger.
I will keep it nice & short for my first post.
I am spending a little time with my extended family this week. Time away from work is always welcome. We were attempting to camp at a local state park, but the weather didn't agree with us so we have been camping-lite. Day camping with no overnights...and leaving when the rain says go. We will be headed back home later this week and just spending some time enjoying our town.
The news has not been overly interesting lately. The war continues on at a slow pace, with casualties on both sides seeming to be unending. The only thing that I think both critics and proponents of the war can agree on is that Iraq has become the place that the US told the world needed to be invaded.
I still want to see Pirates of the Carribean 3, but I do not know if we will make it to the theatres. We saw Shrek 3 last weekend and it was probably a 3 star show. Not as new and funny as Shrek1&2 were, in my opinion.
The kids are out of school now. Only 6 weeks until my youngest starts kindergarten. I find it hard to believe how quickly time flies by.
